By accessing or using Korla, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Early Access & Founding User Notice

Korla is currently in an early access launch phase. Features, availability, data practices, and platform functionality may change as the product develops. Founding users and early access members acknowledge that the platform is actively being built and improved.

We are committed to transparency throughout this process. Any material changes to how we handle your data will be communicated in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Your continued use of Korla during the early access period constitutes acceptance of any updates made during this phase.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect information you provide directly to us, as well as information collected automatically when you use our platform.

Information you provide to us

  • Account login credentials
  • Billing and payment information
  • Team member details you add to your workspace
  • Preferences, settings, and onboarding responses
  • Messages or support requests you send to us

Workspace content

Because Korla is a Business Operating System, you may choose to add business information and operational content to your workspace. This may include:

  • Tasks, projects, goals, and milestones
  • KPIs, dashboard selections, metrics, and performance data
  • Client, lead, vendor, or partner information
  • Invoices, expenses, revenue details, and other business records
  • Team assignments, capacity details, notes, and internal workflows
  • Files, documents, forms, or other materials you upload or connect to Korla

Information collected automatically

When you use Korla, we may automatically collect:

  • IP address
  • Browser type and version
  • Device type and operating system
  • Usage data and interaction history
  • Session activity
  • Referral URLs
  • Date and time stamps
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies

Payment information

If Korla offers paid plans, subscriptions, upgrades, or paid services, payment and billing information may be collected and processed by a third-party payment processor. Korla does not intend to store complete credit card numbers or full payment account details on its own servers.

Information from integrations or third parties

If you connect third-party tools or services to Korla, we may receive limited information needed to support those integrations, subject to the permissions you grant.

AI, automation, and operational intelligence

Korla may use workspace content, onboarding responses, account settings, usage activity, and connected business information to power dashboards, summaries, recommendations, workflows, automations, task suggestions, KPI displays, and other operational intelligence features within your account.

Unless clearly disclosed otherwise, Korla does not use your private workspace content to train external artificial intelligence models. If this practice changes, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide notice where required by applicable law.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

Service providers

We may share information with trusted vendors and service providers who help us operate Korla, such as hosting providers, analytics vendors, payment processors, communication tools, email delivery services, customer support platforms, security providers, and other operational tools.

Payment processors

If you purchase a subscription or paid service, payment information may be shared with or collected directly by third-party payment processors for billing, fraud prevention, tax, receipt, and transaction processing purposes.

Workspace sharing between users

If you invite team members, employees, clients, or other users to your Korla workspace, you are responsible for ensuring those individuals are aware of and agree to the applicable data practices governing the workspace. Information shared within your workspace may be visible to other authorized workspace members based on the permissions you configure.

With your direction or consent

We may share your information with third parties when you request it, authorize an integration, or otherwise consent to the sharing.

All third parties that process data on our behalf are expected to use appropriate safeguards and only use the data as necessary to provide services to Korla.

4. Data Security

We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

These measures may include:

However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we work hard to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Platform availability

Korla does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or continuous access to the platform. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the platform at any time with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of planned maintenance or significant changes where possible.

5. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Delete your personal information
  • Export certain account data

  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

Legal bases for processing

Workspace content retention

Workspace content may be retained for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide Korla services. If your account is deleted, certain workspace content may be deleted, anonymized, or retained for a limited period where necessary for backups, legal compliance, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legitimate business purposes.

Account inactivity

Korla reserves the right to deactivate or delete accounts that have been inactive for an extended period. We will provide reasonable notice by email before taking any action on inactive accounts. Users may reactivate their account or export their data before deactivation occurs.

8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Korla may use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to:

  • Remember your preferences
  • Understand how users interact with the platform
  • Improve functionality and performance

Korla is intended for business and professional use and is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login credentials, using strong passwords, managing team permissions, and ensuring that any information you enter, upload, connect, or share through Korla is information you have the right and authority to process.

You are also responsible for reviewing access permissions for your workspace users and promptly notifying Korla if you believe your account or workspace has been accessed without authorization.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or privacy practices.

If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by providing additional notice through the platform or by email. Your continued use of Korla after changes become effective means you accept the revised Privacy Policy.
